I hope you are enjoying this site! I have only very recently started making little videos with my digital photocamera, am used to drawing, painting and taking photographs... I try to capture images that reveal something surprising/new/interesting/poetic about everyday things that are normally overlooked. The details, the possible stories, the beauty of things up close...these works are still very much in an experimental phase, so please check back in a few years :)

I want to make things that are ambiguous, that stimulate the imagination, and that have a strong 'feel' to them, rather than a conceptual message. Most of the videos seem to just 'happen' to me while I am noticing and exploring something around me.

Unfortunately, many of my videos have been lost due to all kinds of new technical problems that I still need to learn to manage, including very recent ones, more work will follow despite all that however :) 

I teach at a University in the Netherlands and do 'art on the side'. I am currently working on a new self-designed website and on setting up a shop with cards and prints at Etsy, meanwhile more work can be seen on my current website...
