Dear Paul, Philo has sent me the following link as she was worried about us in England: 'you'd better watch that South Gate' is what she advised!
 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2008/03/07/nweather207.xml
It makes cautionary reading. However I know you'll be safe as you'd have to be a Wally to go out in conditions like they're predicting!
...I look forward to the photos.
Love to all, C&R.

Dear Paul,
What a wonderful day it must have been! I hope that there will be some photographs of the wedding at some point in time. Have you seen the Trouser Trumpets? Was alerted to their website by Chrissy's nephew who knows 'Jelly Jim' well.
Glad that Whitstable has still got its eccentricities!
Talking of which, it all seems rather quiet on the Walter from Walthamstow front lately. Come on girls and boys, its mid-winter...!
Lots of love to you all,
Chrissy and Robin.

Dear Paul,Thanks for your recent comment on the Burj Al Arab, which certainly amused Anushka (7) who first alerted me to its similarity to the Spinnaker Tower. We've started the building work here and it has all been a bit fraught, but hopefully in a couple of months we'll be on the right side of things.Do hope that you are all keeping well at Hillside and beyond. You'll find one of your photos being used without any permissions being sought or fees being paid at:http://www.esnips.com/web/thespiderdomeBG2008Let that be a lesson in internet piracy for you!Saw an article about inappropriate 999 calls the other day, and was amused by the woman who dialed 999 to report that she hadn't got a £1 coin for a shopping trolley. On a more serious note, one woman reported her boyfriend for putting her hamster outside in the rain.Bring back harranging, I say.Very best wishes,Robin and Chrissy.

Dear Paul,
Nice to hear from you. I've nearly run out of music I can put on world view until I get everything set up again. A bit quiet on the old photo front recently! Hope all is well. Very best wishes from Chrissy and me.

Hi Hilz good to hear from you ,it must be a bit like trying to catch up on a bad soap veiwing my pix now;it all started as a visual punny dialogue with spider ,an old friend I rarely see these days.I am sure that some of the captions will seem really obscure and some pictures a little odd.I am off to France in the morning and I am looking forward to filling my memory card with even more odd angles and then giving them titles. The beatnik/hippy thing was never an issue just the old bit !

Hi ya Paul,

Glad you like the pictures. I've enjoyed looking through yours - though I must admit, I've not inwardly digested every one, yet!
I know what you mean about the beatnik business... people tell me I'm a hippy, but I don't feel I ever really was. Mind you, that doesn't mean I'm not! Wink

Love an' Peace, Man,

Thankyou for all your comments, I expect there's more for me to find still!
The St James picture is of my Mum and Dad's house (behind the tree!).
I'm hoping to get broadband when we move (sometime soon we hope) and then I'll be able to look at pictures and upload things a lot quicker.
So pleased you have put your pictures on.
Love to all,
Robin.

Ello!
Now I know it was worth those hours of slow uploading!
Thanks Paul, You have made my day and much more (including some very memorable bonfires).
Did you look at Happisburgh Lighthouse on page 2? (Oh, alright, I know what you have looked at because I've discovered that it tells you if people you invited to be members have looked at the pictures or not! A bit sneaky, eh?).
So have a look at Happisburgh Lighthouse!
Thinking of starting a folder of your own one of these days?
Robin.
PS: I was expecting an online vasectomy.

I came to this site to get an online haircut;what a disappointment !All I got was a picture of someone with a cup stuck to his face(seems Dali-esque to me). Some of this music seems to  have been plagiarized from a bloke that was once notorious in Kent for his ability to start breakfast at 8.00am and finish in time for lunch. He used to terrorise my children with tales of talking logs and could not walk past things without putting them in his mouth with a view to making noises.Keep on taking the pictures it gives me some idea of where you are and makes me feel safe.
