| Situated opposite the north wing of the Louvre, the Palais Royal today houses the French national government: the Conseil d'État, the Constitutional Council and the Ministry of Culture. In the great courtyard, the Colonnes de Buren is a preferred site for photographers ~ and cute little boys with shiny red bikes. |

| Located in the 19th arrondissement, Parc des Buttes Chaumont is a 61-acre park with 3 miles of walkways, paths, lawns, plants and trees. There’s a fantastic 32-meter waterfall that plunges into a circular lake, best viewed from the Sybille temple, or the 63-meter long suspension bridge, and the “suicide bridge” – which is more than 30 meters above ground. |
