Recorded on the 5th of May 2008. Some post-processing on the 18th of May. Uploaded on the 19th (inexplicably) as 'Four days in Barcelona'. Renamed on the 26th May. A short piece intended as soundtrack music.

I think this would be a very good addition to the official soundtrack of that movie (which is, by the way, my favourite Miyazaki movie) Just about every anime ever made has at least one cute female character in it, but there also seems to be an Airship of some kind in at least every second anime. And then look at games like Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, Secret of Mana etc. - the RPG's are even heavier on the Airships! Mecha anime of all sorts also feature countless variations on the Airship- or Flying Island-theme. But I could never really figure out why the Japanese seem to be so obsessed about this. |
