One of my favorite songs from yesteryears for Pakistani film Armaan (1966) sung by Ahmed Rushdi and composed by Sohail Rana. Most Sohail Rana songs were recorded to glamorize the effect and that is what I liked about this song. The track is prepared by my friend Shahid Kamal which I have transposed by one step to A from Bb. Shahid has done a beautiful job in preparing this track. I hope I justified keeping the mood and somberness in the song picturized in a bar club setting.

| Naqvi saheb... first off I wish you a great recovery from your illness and that you enjoy life to the fullest... your song reminded great Ahmad Rushdi but alas he died early however Sohail Rana ji as I heard is still in Toronto and running his music academy... I don't know if its still running... anyhow you've sung if beautifully and I really enjoyed my listening. Keep sharing more. |
