Beautiful DUET from movie Pardes... the guy in this song is imagining about his dream sweetheart and wishing he would meet her some day... the girl, his friend and who loves him but can't tell him is asking about how would she be.... here I'm singing with Maria who is a German national and has sung it superbly with great Hindi accent.. | Hi, Javed-Bhai. First of all from 00:48 to 00:54 you should wait without singing then start again but you repeat. That's why it sounds like you are running somewhere. And second you missed romantism in your singing, why? Where is romance, love, Barsaat, Maria? Where is your feelings? About Maria.., I like her voice as a singer she is very pontencial but for indian music she have to work day and nights like me, sorry, if I am again in my style, in some place as you see yourself she is bilkul flat in high notes and she changes song lines. By the way song is not pure indian. it has a mixed international music styles and more European than pure Indian but she lost main major Alka' Yagnik's notes. What she did in: Tere Dard-e-Dil Ki, Dava Hum Karengeand why you don't teach her before recording? I know you and Mariacan hate me after all these but I am like your Local Esnip's AMRISH PURI (MUQAMBO HAMESHA KHUSH NAHIN HUA). Main Kya Karoon, Yaar. | are wazif bhai...very well sung ...maria as always surprises me with her singing talent. this time she has rocked. you are were very good. only thing i noticed was that the end notes needed some improvement and some sur issues here and there..but otherwise i enjoyed listening..keep rocking yaar...take care. |

| A very good attempt on your part, but, I completely agree with Mustafa on the totality of the rendition. Though you sang well but somehow didn't go with the music. A little more energy was required, I felt and a little softer volume on specially your voice. What can I say about, Maria. She seems to get better by the day on her Hindi. One the whole, you could do better, I felt. Best of luck. Take care and God bless. |

Good collaboration with international partners..:-) But dear, somehow I felt your singing didn't gel with this song. Something was amiss. Your vocal mixing was ordinary. May be some songs don't suit you, but its commendable that you do not hesitate to attempt any. Your German co-singer, Maria, always surprises us with her uncanny ability to pull of singing Hindi songs.
Overall, a bold, good effort! |
