| This is different from the usual sunset painting and I think I know why. The mood you painted is one of pending clouds and maybe a storm approaching and so the shadows are more somber. The light from the sun is more faded because of the storm--you captured this atmosphere so well, Maya. This is great work, and the shadows of the rocks are perfect. I just know how things look in nature, like anybody else, and I can see that you captured this so well. Sincerely, Catherine |
