本文致力于研究PPLive网络的拓扑特征，并在此基础上寻找PPLive拓扑的可视化方法。首先，本文从经典的图形特征参量，如度，聚合系数，以及互惠等方面出发，来探索PPLive网络的拓扑特征；另一方面,本文用BOSAM图来将PPLive拓扑可视化，并且尝试使用网络可视化工具——“蜘蛛”（pajek）来研究PPLive网络的拓扑特征，并将其拓扑可视化。另外，我也将本文的研究结论与现有的对点对点文件共享应用的拓扑研究的成果进行了比较，例如与Gnutella网络的拓扑的研究成果进行了比较，从而得出了一些重要的关于点对点流媒体拓扑的结论。 通过本次研究，主要得出了以下结论：（1）PPLive网络中，大多数的源peer其peerlist中包含的peer数目接近50。而在Gnutella网络中这个数目约为30。（2）PPLive网络的聚合系数和互惠都比UUSee网络的小。（3）PPLive网络的BOSAM图和ER随机模型的BOSAM图外围轮廓相似，且两个网络的聚合系数都比较小。（4）PPLive网络的BOSAM图和Gnutella网络的BOSAM图外围轮廓相似，且两个网络的聚合系数在同一数量级上，都
