91 views? This should get featured! And why haven't I discovered this gem earlier on? It's sounds all fuzzy and stuff - I love it when it sounds all fuzzed-out and with the voice almost buried (plus a good melody!) Like a Psychedelic version of My Bloody Valentine covering early Floyd or something like that. And that voice! OMG, I wish I had a voice like that (but mine sounds pretty crappy & awkward so if I ever try to record my voice, I will definitely use all kinds of weird effects to cancel out the crappyness of it .) This song get's the 5 star-Flux-Award, of course: |

| Dear Spider, Yes it certainly has made a difference! That touch of reverb has added transparency and dimension to the sound. Much better! I remember watching a short DVD extra featuring composer/musician Mark Ayers (the guy who amongst many other things remasters all the soundtracks and incidental music for the revitalised Dr Who reissues) http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/Mark_Ayres/ ... and he was explaining that he often did just the thing you have done here - gave it a touch of reverb - because such treatment opened and clarified music/atmospheres that had become opaque through the passage of time, wear and copying. Beneficial and good to hear. Best Wishes, ~ BG |
