Dear Perlesvaus,Yes, Dick Le Burgh does tend to be a little eccentric. On reading your response, did he immediately don his headphones and get studying? Oh. no, he gleefully commented that last time he tried to use the central line it wasn't so much inverted as static! A lengthy succession of London Underground jokes ensued, culminating, inevitably, in his loudly exclaiming, 'Mornington Crescent!'Very happily downloaded, and being listened to attentively! With best wishes,Spider dlb.

Dear Spider dlb, Dick Le Burgh is right in spotting maximal 303 sequencer action here, but otherwise he is off the mark. There are more than 15 significant interventions in the course of the piece, and in two places the dynamic of the central line is completely inverted. Download box ticked! Best wishes, Perlesvaus

I'd add 'compelling'! A real pace-setter. I've run it through the Spider Spectacle Incinerator a dozen times now, but we're not even close to cracking the code! Dick Le Burgh says, 'Hey, just let it happen!', and I guess he's right. But the craft is admirable. Discipline!!With best wishes,Spider dlb.

If I had to describe the song in one word, it would be hypnotic. And you recorded this in real time? Well, then this is an even greater achievement, of course. Then the clarity of it...mmmh...tasty! John Adams meets Philip Glass (on amphetamines). I am definitely inspired now! And thank you very much for your recent comments!!

Crikey! I'm in heaven! Enthralled by this: the patterns, most definitely, but also the shifting emphasis, and ghosting textures - hints at 'orchestral' chord shapes - woven by the reverb. All the Best ~ BG
