"live and let live"
Chartaal-Ki-Swari is the name of a rhythmic cycle played on the tabla that has 11 beats. In this recording I am playing in a style known as SAATH that can best be described as: playing with open hands on a tabla, or in other words, playing pakhawaj bols on tabla. This style of tabla is used to accompany dhrupad vocal compositions. Recorded in Feb 2006.
