A quirky piece. Ten minutes of unreleased tension - not for the faint of heart. I've been told it is ideal for lift-watching. A realisation made originally in 2001.

Dear Spiderdlb, Thanks for your comments. I figured you secretly loved this piece from your first response :-). Still I find myself drawn to this piece (somewhat to my surprise,) after about seven years. Though at first I wasn't sure (at all) about its value. Originally I planned four movements. I may make the other movements available at some point. Best wishes for the New Year, Perlesvaus.

Dear Perlesvaus,Well, it has taken a while, but I've come back! This time I found it very easy to get lost in all the rhythms and variations, and was surprised how quickly the 5 hours passed! Seriously, I was fascinated by the fleeting snatches of so many different types of music that occur, particularly dance and folk music. A definite favourite now! With best wishes, Spider dlb.

I thought you'd like to know that I listened all the way through and am still functehensing comprionably! Rather cheekily I'd like to say that it is good to see a bit of Discipline at last in Camberwick Green! Seriously, though, the more I listened to it, the more I liked it...will have another listen soon. Best wishes, Spider dlb.
