Mother P. Thankamma came from Kerela and settled in Bikaner, Rajasthan, the state of Desert. She was the disciple of Most Revered Swami Ranganathanandaji and through her influence Ramakrishna Movement came in the form of Devotees, friends and also one Ashrama, in the name of Ramakrishna Ashrama. She was the founder of the Ashrama.
