This song, originally recorded by Ben E. King, and covered by Shirley Bassey and Tom Jones, among others, was featured in the musical theater revue "Smokey Joe's Cafe"...I've always wanted to record this song. It's a song of anguish and longing, and I think many of us can identify with its lyrics. This is my rendition...Special thanks to my good friend Joyce (Cantstopsinging), who provided me with the backing and worked her magic on the mix!
