Hello Bob, Thanks for letting me know that enjoyed the song. It's one of my favourite UK hits from the 60's. It was sung by a group called The Honey Bus and was a top 10 hit in April 1968 BUT it was then used in one of the most successful tv advertising campaigns ever in the UK. The advert was for Nimble a slimmers bread and while this song played the viewers were treated to seeing a pretty girl in a multi-coloured hot air balloon floating about in an idylic blue Summer sky. The advert was so popular that it was shown for years. The visuals sometimes changed but this song didn't because everybody loved it so much. I suppose the hidden message was that if the girl wasn't so slim ( thanks to eating Nimble ) the balloon would never have got off the ground. ;-)
