American high plains. The big sky. A transitional piece, recorded in June 2009. This is a work in progress, which I expect to return to in future. The piece explores space and ambience. Recorded using a newly expanded soundboard. The lead instrument is a Yamaha electric piano, and the piece runs to just over 10 minutes.

Dear Sharrukin,
Yes, I'm late to the party, too, but no less impressed than the eloquatious BG! Absolutely beautiful. It is worthy of the Golden Rose of Ambience, which is an award newly created especially for Red Cirrus! The atmosphere and the spaciousness are mesmerising.
Many thanks.
May I make so bold as to ask whether it might be possible to buy a CD of your streaming only files, which I admire greatly?
With best wishes,
Spider dlb.

Wow! Let's just say, at the moment, for me, this is your numero uno. Everything about it - from the pace, space, arrangement, voices... to that final note - is masterfully painted. Those chiming guitar-like keys are gorgeous, and they are especially so because of the sense of space around them, allowing them to breathe. Space, movement, and the way your music seems to make time hush, stand still. Focuses.
I'm very taken with this. I'm just sorry it's taken me so long to get around to listening to it.

Thank you for uploading this piece and allowing us to download it. Whatever you have planned for it, I love it just the way it is.
