The Act comprising of 25 Articles and 11 Notes is enacted by the Islamic Consultative Assembly in its session of Sunday, 10 March 2002. The initial part of Articles (1) and (2) , Para ( c) and (d) of Article (2), Para (b) of Article (3), and Note (2) of Article (17) were approved by the Expediency Council in its meeting of Saturday, 25 May 2002.
