It's an epoch-making song, long-time top-favourite among all the Bangalis across the world. It's a new genre, where a story is told of a distressed village 'Bodhu' meaning married woman. Lyricist and music director Salil Chowdhury came to limelight with this creation. He was indebted to the IPTA movement greatly for this song.
