To me, this was hilarious.I have loved to fish for a long time. My husband taught me and now he created a monster.So much of that rang a bell with me. A little to the left, a little to the right. I always had my best luck, standing up in the boat. Had so many striped bass at my feet, I had to kick them aside to have a place to stand. Hubby baiting the hooks and I was using one pole and then the other. I would cast out and as soon as it hit the water, another one. That was wonderful.Don't get me wrong. A lot of days, out in the boat for 8 hours and nary a bite.This song might not mean anything to someone who has never fished, but it cracked me up with memories.Fished in Show Low, Az. and all we caught was crawdads.You got me started, John.This was a real fun song.Thanks for sharing.Rose/jorojo55  |
