What A Wonderful World was written by Robert Thiele (under the pseudonym, George Douglas) and George David Weiss and was originally performed in 1968 by Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong. This version was originally recorded by Tony Bennett and k.d. lang as the title cut of their duet LP "A Wonderful World" released in 2002. It won the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. I'm joined on this recording by Sharon, another of my talented duet partners from SingSnap.com.
