solomon amulet - Description: You are looking at the lower portion of a parrying club-shield known as a "roromaraugi". This lovely implement with classic seated dog faced figure was most likely retained as an "amulet" after an important club was smashed or as a trophy from a defeated adversary. It has acquired a fantastic dark varied patina with crusty dark areas. The area that was cut above the head is very well patinated as well
