A sogn copied?!! yes copied from 'Kaike Pann Banaras wala' from the 'don' when it was remade into telugu titled 'Yugandhar' with 'NTR' in the lead role. This is a 'SHOCKER' coming from the genius 'Ilaiyaraaja' .He usually gets inspired and takes a cue from some good songs or compostitions and developes on its own. This is yet another blatant lift by Raaja from ace music composers kalyanji anandji. the another song is 'Kanavu kaanum Vaazhkkai'!

| Kalyanji Anandji and Ilayaraja had this well known understanding between them of exchanging their tunes.. KA used IR's Ilayanila pozhigirathu as Neele Neele Ambar pe in Hindi.. i dont know how many such tunes r there but m sure this Don tune is also one of them. So not strictly lifting if you ask me. :) |

well , if the film producer(s) & director want the same tune then
the composer has to either accept it or leave it to assistants ...
