| The Third Eye is perhaps one of the most important books about Tibet ever written. His training and experiences are related in this book as a message to people in the West of what Tibet had been and what it would become. It had long been foreseen by those in the higher levels of that society that there would be a concerted effort to destroy any and all vestiges of Tibet's influence on the Chinese sphere of power.
