AGADIR_FRIDAY PRAYERS OUTSIDE THE SOUK.JPG in Karen's Vacation in Morocco 2007

Every Friday at 12noon the Agadir locals pray wherever they are. These men where outside the SOUK(market) Each place their prayer mats in the direction of Mecca to pray. The women pray seperately. Our tour guide, Abdul, said it is because women distract the men.(nothing new there then)I think he was joking. I'm sure there is another explanation.lol
