Double Crested Cormorant ..JPG in National Bison Range - Montana

This is the first Cormorant I even knew existed in Montana and I've lived here all my life. Just another thing that photography brings to light, in one's life. The Cormorant is a "diving" bird, who swims around underwater to feed on small fish and other aquatic life, unlike ducks who feed off the bottom.

Indian cormorant birds rest on the dry foliage of a tree in the midst of a pond in the Visakhapatnam Port Trust area. The place attracts many resident bird species after the water treatment process began. The pond water is used for sprinkling purposes to control dust emissions from coal stacks.
