Hi, My name is Debra Tyson. I am a professional Artist. I sell paintings all over the United States. I am self taught. Learning new ideas everyday. Most people call my work illustration. I call it my LIFE! I love to draw, paint and sculp. I am a writer  also. I write everyday.  I paint and draw in my sleep......litterally. I have no control most of the time what I draw or paint.
Something just seems to take over. Like some kind of unseen force. I was born to be an artist.  At a very young age, I was practicing my signature, cause I just knew one day that is what I was going to be. I was drawing before I could write. In school, I was constantly getting in trouble for drawing. It was uncontrollable. We seem to move a lot through my childhood, so I was never settled enough to take art classes. About me, well, I am part Cherokee Indian, and part Irish. I love my Family and Partner.  I love to laugh. I love to play basketball with my partner's son Tyler. Who is an amazing twelve yr old. Who is also a great little artist. I have recently been asked to do a painting for Habitat for Humanity, a charity auction. I am very honored to be asked. I am grateful for everything in my life!
